C++, Here I come...
I finally managed to pick up a copy of Accelerated C++ by Andrew Koenig & Barbara E. Moo today, on the way back from Ottawa. It seems to be the most recommended printed book to beginners in ##C++ on freenode. Who knows, I might even write a review of it.
Learning C++ is all part of my effort/hopes of being able to contribute patches, etc. to KDE. I've started off with Python, but I quickly learned that KDE is written in C++, and, even though some people might disagree, the PyQt4 documentation isn't to die for.
Are there any "Gotcha!" type pitfalls that a newcomer to C++ should be aware of?
